LocatePLUS Holdings, which maintains a searchable and cross-referenced public information database on 205 million individuals, is now offering LocatePLUS AnyWhere, a wireless data query and messaging system aimed at law enforcement, private investigators, legal and insurance professionals, collections bureaus and corporate security.

LocatePLUS said AnyWhere is a wireless offering that includes the customers' choice of either a RIM 950-4 or RIM 957 device, unlimited e-mail, unlimited Internet browser access, and unlimited access to the LocatePLUS database for $99.00/month.

According to LocatePLUS CEO Jon Latorella, "we are meeting a tremendous need for law enforcement and related security professionals to be connected at all times to important pieces of identity data, all compiled in a single, easy-to-read report. For example, the ability to run plates, VINs, SSNs, names, and addresses wirelessly, all without going back to dispatch, empowers police officers with access to the right information on demand when they need it most."

LocatePLUS said AnyWhere has been in beta testing for the past several months undergoing field trials with several government and national associations. "Our association was thrilled to be a critical part of LocatePLUS' new offering," said Paul Pellegrino from the National Association of Fugitive Investigators. "The ability to access the comprehensive LocatePLUS database while working in the field gives us a significant advantage when trying to apprehend fugitives. Additionally, the ability to use a query keyboard is by far superior to competing methods which require information be typed in using a mobile phone."
